Our history


It was in 1980 when Mrs. Luigina opened a restaurant serving home made food in the small village of San Michele: typical local food from Veneto region such as “polenta e sopressa”(kind of light, soft corn bread with cold sausages), “bigoli pasta”, “gnocchi”, grilled meat, “baccalà alla vicentina” (codfish coked in a traditional way in Vicenza).

The family is growing...

The five children: Sabina, Sandra, Sonia, Serena and Stefano are continuing the passion for the work united together… Dad Gino and mum Luigina “motto” is : “all for one and one for all”.

Mr. Gino bought 12 hectares of land (200 metres far from the restaurant) near by a sunny hill in 1985. In this beautiful land you can find a large lawn, an olive grove, a vineyard, a rustic house, various animals such as cats, dogs, hares, rabbits, horses, donkeys, cows, hens ect...

It was decided to renovate the rustic house in order to make it a guest house in 2005.
It came to be a facility with 8 accommodations with single bedrooms and breakfast room + 2 more accommodations bigger size. A lovely place full of farming traditions in the middle of nature where everybody can enjoy simple life and feeling part of it.

It was agreed to close the restaurant in San Michele village in order to carry on and develop a bigger farming project in 2010. It was finally opened a farm restaurant in 2012 with “food 0 km” (coming from the farm itself) including a sites for caravans/campers” as well as bran new small natural lake where it is possible swimming.

This is the right place to stay and have some good breakfast with home made cakes, sweets and marmalade. The right location for going around the area sighting the beautiful landscape just 3 km far from the famous Bassano del Grappa and Marostica.
